The Ohio State football team is getting ready for the season. They are just a few weeks away from their season opener against Akron. Technically, they are still battling for the quarterback spot, but Will Howard will win that battle. He has made the most appearances on the first team.
A member of the Ohio State Buckeyes was impressed with his play. Denzel Burke is one of the best cornerbacks in the country. He has a chance to be one of the best cornerbacks in the country and he will be all over the field and make more than a few interceptions.
Burke praised his Buckeyes teammate. He was pleased with what he had seen so far. In fact, Burke let people know that Howard had only thrown one interception so far in fall camp. And it was one that Burke actually took away from him. It seems to be the only mistake he has made so far.
If Burke is impressed with his play, it means good things are in store for the Buckeyes. Burke has seen more than a few quarterbacks at Ohio State. He played on teams with CJ Stroud and Kyle McCord, so he knows what good and bad quarterback play looks like.
This seems to bode well for the future of Ohio State football this year. If Howard is this good throughout the year, they will be much stronger than they were in 2023. The offense was the question last year and remains so this year. But if Burke can let him fool them, that’s a good sign.
Ohio State is hoping to get a lot out of him with his arms and legs. He should be good all year long.
