The Ohio Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission’s customer service center is experiencing an increased volume of calls following the delivery of unpaid toll bills.
As a result of the increased call volume, the Ohio Turnpike has suspended all late fees, collection actions and registration holds issued by the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles, according to a press release.
Customers who receive a bill from the Ohio Turnpike and wish to discuss it with a customer service representative are encouraged to go to www.ezpassoh.com, click on “Contact Us” and submit the online form, the release said.
Customers without E-ZPass should:
• Follow the signs above you.
• Drive in both toll lanes.
• Stop at the entrance to take a toll card.
• Pay the toll upon exit with cash or credit card.
To pay a toll online, visit www.ezpassoh.com. A toll ticket is required.
Customers with an E-ZPass should:
• Properly install your E-ZPass transponder on your windshield.
• Keep your online account up to date, including vehicle registration number, a valid credit card and complete contact information.
