  • The one-off Pininfarina B95 Gotham will make its first public appearance at the Monterey Car Week.
  • This is one of four hypercars inspired by Bruce Wayne, the civilian character of Batman.
  • The B95 Gotham is priced at €4.9 million ($5.3 million), the same as the upcoming B95 Dark Knight.

Automobili Pininfarina will unveil the first of four Batman-inspired hypercars at the Monterey Car Week in California. The all-electric Pininfarina B95 Gotham combines a Rimac chassis with a roofless barchetta body and trim inspired by the legendary Batman.

The Italian brand unveiled all four bespoke hypercars in digital renderings on April 30, including two examples of the B95 and two more of the Battista. All were created in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products (WBDGCP) and Relevance International, which owns the rights to the fictional character and alter ego of the DC superhero Batman.

The real Pininfarina B95 Gotham will make its first public appearance in California. For the occasion, it was photographed next to the legendary Tumbler Batmobile in the studio of the Dark Knight Trilogy (2005-2012). The placement of the high-performance barchetta in the underground parking lot makes it look like the perfect everyday car next to the real Batmobile, at least when Bruce Wayne is off duty and not driving his grey Lamborghini Aventador as he did in the Dark Knight Trilogy.

The model is finished in Argento Vittorio gloss black, combined with matte black and gloss black on the alloy wheels. The interior features tan leather upholstery with bespoke quilting and tan stitching. Pininfarina has also added Wayne Enterprises logos to the body, chassis and door plates, alongside bespoke graphics on the infotainment display and a virtual assistant featuring the voice of Alfred Pennyworth (Bruce Wayne’s butler). Finally, the quote “All men have limits… I ignore mine.” is engraved on the driver’s side door plate.

Like the standard Pininfarina B95 Barchetta, the one-off “Gotham” is powered by four electric motors that generate a total of 1,874 hp (1,398 kW / 1,900 PS) and draw energy from a 120 kWh lithium-ion battery. The other Batman special models will also feature the same basic structures and specifications from Rimac.

The Pininfarina B95 Gotham will make its public debut on August 16 at The Quail: A Motorsports Gathering during Monterey Car Week 2024. According to the company, the model will be a show car, as the actual one-off customer car is currently being built at the Pininfarina workshop in Cambiano, Italy.

The physical debuts of the Battista Gotham, B95 Dark Knight and Battista Dark Knight will likely follow at a later date. Pininfarina will build only one of each model, with a price tag of €3,400,000 ($3,704,249) for the Battistas and €4,900,000 ($5,338,477) for the B95s.
