Outback Steakhouse is giving away free Bloomin’ Onions. Here’s how to get one.

The nationwide chain is giving away its most famous appetizer to celebrate the start of college football season on Saturday. There are two ways to get your free Bloomin’ Onion before it’s too late.

Outback Steakhouse is preparing to give away some appetizers over the weekend, giving customers the opportunity to snack on a free Bloomin’ Onion before their main course.

The steakhouse chain is offering customers a free Bloomin’ Onion when they do one of two things: purchase a full-price adult entree on-site or order online using the code “BLOOM.” The restaurant says the offer, which is valid for only three days, is to celebrate the start of college football season, which officially begins Saturday.

“Come together, folks! We’re giving you the playbook on how to get a FREE Bloomin’ Onion!” says the Outback Steakhouse website.

Bloomin’ Onions are considered a staple in the outback, where more than 8 million of the fried appetizers are sold each year, USA TODAY reported.

“It is crafted by Bloomologists and served on a proprietary pedestal that reads ‘on another level,'” Outback Steakhouse said in a press release. “The appetizer was invented by one of Outback’s founders who wanted to create a delicious comeback flavor.”
