Hair color brand Madison Reed has tapped UConn basketball star Paige Bueckers and three of her teammates to promote its new demi-permanent hair color, ColorWonder.

The color retails for $34 and is available in 16 shades, including “Sparkling Rosé,” “That’s So Fire,” “It’s Giving Golden,” and “Bronde.” It’s designed to last up to 25 washes, offering consumers a low-maintenance alternative to going to the salon.

Bueckers – who is selected number one in the 2025 WNBA Draft – has been wearing Sparkling Rosé and is looking forward to giving her followers feedback on what colors she should try next via Instagram story polls.

“I really value expressing myself in different ways,” said Bueckers, who has more than 4.8 million followers combined on TikTok and Instagram. “Being able to inspire the next generation of athletes and younger kids to be confident, to express themselves in different ways and not to have to fit into a box – those are values that I share with Madison Reed.”

UConn forward Azzi Fudd will serve as Madison Reed’s ambassador and impact advisor at Bueckers, while forward Ice Brady and rising freshman Morgan Cheli will join the two in leading the new product launch.

“Our products have traditionally focused on covering gray hair,” says founder and UConn graduate Amy Errett, adding that ColorWonder gives consumers the opportunity to “start coloring with Madison Reed at 24 and continue coloring with us until they’re 75 – that’s a powerful brand promise.”

As part of the partnership, Errett will sponsor UConn’s Gampel Pavilion and XL Center for the next three years, making it the first women- and alumni-founded brand with naming rights to UConn’s courts.
