Pakistan offers free online visas to Turkish citizens from August 14

Starting this Wednesday, August 14, Turkish citizens can apply for a visa to enter Pakistan online free of charge.

During a meeting between Pakistani Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Turkish Ambassador Dr. Mehmet Paçaci in Islamabad, Naqvi pointed out that the new move will facilitate the entry of Turkish citizens into Pakistan, reports VisaGuide.World.

At the same time, they also discussed bilateral relations between Pakistan and Turkey and issues of mutual interest in detail. As a result, the two countries decided to promote cooperation in the fields of security, police and civil armed forces.

In October this year, Interior Minister Naqvi announced that he would visit Turkey on the invitation of the Turkish government, where he would propose productive steps to enhance cooperation. He also noted that Pakistanis consider Turkey as their second home.

Both countries have long-standing religious, cultural and trade relations and we would like to further strengthen these relations.

The meeting also discussed the release of Pakistani prisoners in Turkey and agreed that the agreement in this regard should be concluded soon.

In this context, Turkish Ambassador Mehmet Pacaci said that Turkey attaches great importance to brotherly relations with Pakistan and will continue to cooperate with Pakistan in various fields.

Chinese nationals are also entitled to a free online visa

Starting August 14 this year, Chinese citizens will also be able to obtain a free online visa. This measure is intended to promote tourism in the country.

Pakistan will also make it easier for citizens of 124 other countries to obtain digital visas and avoid visa fees. This means that citizens of these countries can now obtain business and tourist visas within 24 hours using an electronic travel authorization.

Starting January 31, 2023, Pakistani citizens will be able to obtain a visa to travel to China, whether for a short or long stay. Both countries maintain friendly relations, allowing citizens to travel between the two countries for various reasons.

Pakistani diplomats can visit China for up to 30 days without a visa or stay in Hong Kong for up to 14 days. This visa-free option also applies to Macau for 14 days.

In addition, Pakistani officials with special passports can visit mainland China for up to 30 days and Hong Kong for up to 14 days without a visa. The main objective is to check whether a short-stay visa is required.
