Parking at MB Miller Pier is now free for Bay County residents

PANAMA CITY – Parking at the popular MB Miller Pier is becoming significantly cheaper for Bay County residents.

Bay County Commissioners voted Tuesday to make parking at MB Miller Pier free for county residents.

Previously, Bay County residents had to pay $80 for an annual parking pass at the pier.

The new program came into effect on Wednesday. Here’s how it works:

It is only for residents

To avoid a parking permit fee, residents must prove their Bay County residency by presenting a valid identification card or vehicle registration.

How can Bay County residents register?

Soon, Bay County residents will be able to register their vehicles online to sign up for free parking at the pier. Unfortunately, the county said the link was unavailable on Wednesday, the first day of the program, so for now, residents can drop off their proof of residency at the pier’s customer service desk to receive free parking.

Hey, I already paid for an annual pass. How about a refund?

Residents who hold annual parking permits and wish to obtain a refund may contact the MB Miller Customer Service Desk or call Parks and Recreation at 850-248-8730.

How much do visitors have to pay at the pier?

Without a free annual pass, parking at MB Miller Pier is $2 per hour or $12 per day. The first 15 minutes are free.

The new program came into effect on Wednesday.
