PARYTNEXTDOOR reveals exciting new details about Drake collaboration album

PARTYNEXTDOOR and Drake’s upcoming collaborative album has caught many fans by surprise, but it’s also what many of them have been expressing hope for for years. Forget all the bickering currently swirling around The Boy: This collaboration is a long-awaited OVO affair that marks another shift in his career, albeit a sideways one. Regardless, we now have some limited, yet exciting, new information about the project, shared with us by Party himself. He recently spoke to Awaiz Punjani in a short video released on Tuesday (August 6), letting fans know exactly how much new material they can expect.

“The ones we’re doing right now, all 15 of the ones we’re doing right now,” PARTYNEXTDOOR replied when asked what his favorite collaboration with Drake is. So we know that this joint album will apparently contain 15 tracks, which is very promising for a number of reasons. 15 is a respectable and satisfying number of tracks, but it’s also not so intrusive that fans would worry about bloated songs, quality control, or a lack of focus. And considering how much respect and love they have for each other, their chemistry would electrify any number of records either way.

PARTYNEXTDOOR talks about the Drake collab album

“I know you girls are all out there, and when it gets a little chilly, PARTYNEXTDOOR and the Drake album are for you,” Aubrey Graham said during his surprise appearance at PND’s Toronto show on Friday (August 2). Although neither artist has confirmed the release date for this team-up, Drizzy’s words suggest it will be out in the fall or winter, so there’s still a good chance it will come out in early winter 2025. The concert also saw the 6ix God perform “Wah Gwan Delilah” for the first time.

But elsewhere, the news of Drake’s collaboration with PARTYNEXTDOOR comes amid rumors that his other legendary partnerships are fading. For example, many fans believe Lil Wayne is sending subtle hints that he’s no longer rocking with his Young Money heir. Of course, this is pure speculation, so unless either artist does something truly pointed and direct, we have no reason to believe “The Motto” will age as poorly as cuts like “Lemon Pepper Freestyle.” At the very least, we definitely have this PND collaboration to look forward to.
