Patient, 72, charged with groping doctor’s office employee: Wayne PD

WAYNE, NJ — A Wayne resident is accused of groping a female employee during a visit to a local doctor’s office. Officials said he had been arrested once before for “a similar incident.”

Officials said detectives arrested 72-year-old Mujic Fehim at his home on Monday after speaking with an officer at police headquarters.

According to Det. Captain Dan Daly, Wayne police officers responded to an unnamed doctor’s office Monday afternoon following the reported assault. Officers spoke with a female employee who was “visibly shaken” and told them she was in a room with a male patient “when he suddenly groped her by grabbing her breast and kissing her.”

When the woman asked him to stop, “the man told her to be quiet and left the office,” police said. They immediately notified other employees, who called Wayne police.

The woman agreed to go to police headquarters to give a statement about the incident and provide the suspect’s information. After identifying him as Fehim, police said a check on his criminal history “revealed a previous arrest for a similar incident.”
