Philips Hue app gets smarter with the latest update

If you use Philips Hue products and therefore the official app, you’ll be happy to hear that managing your smart home has become even more convenient thanks to a recent update to the Hue app. If you want to experience the improvements in this update, you should install version 5.23 of the app, which is currently available for download from both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.

The reporting source tested the search feature and was able to access it by selecting the magnifying glass icon in the bottom right corner of the home screen. Tapping this icon allows you to enter text based on which relevant matches will appear on your screen. Finally, the updated app allows you to quickly arm or disarm the Hue Secure alarm system via the app’s Security Center or Security Card. These features are a welcome change and make managing your Philips Hue devices even easier than before.
