On the opening weekend of the Championship season, Plymouth were unlucky again when the kit manager misspelled the names of two players.

Plymouth suffered a devastating 4-0 defeat on their return to the Championship as Wayne Rooney took charge of the team for the first time in a competitive match.

Jamal Lowe gave Sheffield Wednesday the lead, an own goal from Brendan Galloway increased the score to 2-0.

Josh Windass then inflicted further suffering on Plymouth and Michael Smith scored his fourth goal shortly before the end.

Plymouth’s kit manager also had a bad day at the office as two players’ names were misspelled.

Adam Forshaw’s name on the back of his jersey was incorrectly spelled “Foreshaw.”

Ibrahim Cissoko, meanwhile, wore “Issoko” on the back of his jersey.

Forshaw signed for Plymouth in January after joining from Norwich, while Cissoko joined on loan from Toulouse last month.

Plymouth will be looking to get back to winning ways when they host Cheltenham in the first round of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.

Plymouth will then return to league action on Saturday with a home game against Hull.
