Portugal. The man who will play at the Civic Center Plaza in San Francisco

After a successful performance in front of San Francisco City Hall at Civic Center Plaza with Skrillex and Fred, Another Planet Entertainment is using the space again for a show with Portugal. The Man on September 20 as part of the band’s “The Knic Country” tour. The free show is the second part of their free concert series, which began in July with Dirtbird’s “Back To Baysics” event at Embarcadero Plaza.

Snacktime will be a special guest at the show and Another Planet Entertainment promises that this show will be the second in their three-part concert series, whose goal is to ensure that downtown San Francisco remains a destination for live music, entertainment and the arts.

Portugal. The Man is booked by Matt Hickey of High Road Touring and managed by Rich Holtzman. They played Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado on July 10 and grossed $423,390 that day, according to reports provided to Pollstar’s Box Office. Their May 24 performance at Remlinger Farms in Seattle grossed $138,473.

Fans can now reserve tickets for their show at the Civic Center Plaza.

Another Planet Entertainment expanded its reach dramatically this summer when it followed up its groundbreaking Outside Lands festival with a rock concert headlining System of a Down and Deftones in Golden Gate Park.
