EE Gogania assured that it would address the issues raised and first begin with the necessary repair work on the transformers in the sector.
A similar meeting with SDO Vishwajeet Chaudhary and JE Hari Singh was held in Sector 56 this week, where RWA President Sanjay Mavi raised the issues of outages, voltage fluctuations and the need to replace old, dilapidated electricity poles with new ACBs (air breakers) for the safety of distribution transformers in the sector.
SDO Chaudhary said that the tender for undergrounding of high voltage power line for the sector has been approved and the work will start soon. “Apart from this, low voltage power lines are also being replaced underground in some parts of the sector,” he said.
