Price Chopper/Market 32, in collaboration with retail partner Freihofer’s Baking Co., raised more than $22,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association. For two months earlier this summer, Price Chopper/Market 32 and Freihofer’s each donated 5 cents to the Alzheimer’s Association with every purchase of select Freihofer’s products marked with specially designed shelf labels.

The Alzheimer’s Association is the leading voluntary health organization focused on research and care and support for the 6.9 million Americans living with Alzheimer’s disease, the most common cause of dementia. As the largest nonprofit funder of Alzheimer’s research, the Alzheimer’s Association is committed to advancing critical research into treatments, prevention, and ultimately a cure.
“Price Chopper/Market 32 was excited to partner with our long-time partners at Freihofer’s to raise funds to help the Alzheimer’s Association eradicate Alzheimer’s and all other dementias,” said Pam Cerrone, Director of Public Relations for Price Chopper/Market 32. “Combining our efforts with Freihofer’s doubles our impact and makes a real difference.”
