A royal expert has revealed why Prince Harry might ask King Charles for money.

A royal expert has suggested Prince Harry could ask King Charles for money if the Sussexes’ Netflix deal falls through. Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have struck a multimillion-dollar deal with Netflix to produce a lifestyle series about the Duchess of Sussex’s cooking skills, as well as a behind-the-scenes look at the world of polo with the Duke.

However, royal biographer Angela Levin has claimed that these projects will not be implemented until next February at the earliest. “The documentary was six episodes of grumbling and ranting – that was a phenomenal success, but nothing else,” Levin said, according to GB News. “They’re not really excited about her cooking or Harry playing polo or her jam, that’s not original enough. They can’t do anything until next February at the earliest.”

When asked if Netflix would renew the contract with Harry and Meghan after delaying their projects, Levin expressed her doubts about the idea. “Technically, they completely screwed up because they didn’t do it right. Netflix is fed up and they have a lot of other things on their line that they can do. So I don’t think they’re going to renew the $100,000 to be able to keep going,” she said.

Host Darren Grimes highlighted that the Sussexes’ deal with Spotify had fallen through and questioned how the couple could continue to remain “financially independent” if Netflix plans to terminate its contract with them. “I think Harry will try to get some money from the king. I’m not sure, but maybe that’s one reason why they want to come to the UK now and see him,” Levin said.

Meghan’s Spotify podcast has not been renewed for a second season. Insiders close to Spotify had previously claimed that the royal couple had been unable to meet the productivity targets required to receive full compensation, the Wall Street Journal reported.
