Raiders quarterback: Should he be traded for Drake Maye or Joe Milton?

Something interesting could be brewing at the New England Patriots training camp this summer.

There have been reports that sixth-round quarterback Joe Milton has performed better at times this summer than quarterback Drake Maye, who was selected with the No. 3 overall pick, but Maye is said to have developed well recently.

But if Milton shows that he is the right fit and has what it takes to become a top-notch NFL starter soon, the Patriots could be in for an interesting situation.

If they eventually decide to move forward with Milton as the starter instead of Maye, they would likely look to trade Maye. But they could easily decide that Maye has better long-term prospects and trade Milton for much more than the sixth-round investment.

This may not be possible until next offseason, but if Milton shows he is a starting quality player, some sort of move will likely be made.

That’s something the Las Vegas Raiders could be paying attention to. He knows the team may be looking for a new quarterback in 2025, so trying to get one of the Patriots’ young quarterbacks could be one of their options.
