Rapper Lil Wayne reveals he supports the Premier League shock team and they invited him to a game

Lil Wayne made the revelation during an Instagram Live.

Lil Wayne has revealed his “favorite” club in the Premier League and they have invited him to a game.

Wayne – real name Dwayne Michael Carter Jr. – is widely regarded as one of the most influential hip-hop artists of his generation.

The 41-year-old made a name for himself in the music scene with his fourth and fifth albums, “Tha Carter” and “Tha Carter II,” not to mention several mixtapes and collaborations in 2006 and 2007.

He cemented his reputation with his sixth album, “Tha Carter III,” which included the legendary tracks “A Milli,” “Got Money,” and “Lollipop.”

In a recent Instagram Live appearance, the American icon named his “favorite team” in a surprise revelation.

He claims to be a huge Tottenham fan and says: “I’m in the studio, I’m here watching the Premier League.”

“You already know that Tottenham is my favourite team. I don’t know if you know this, but they are my favourite team.”

Well, the Spurs got wind of Wayne’s comments and sent out an invitation via social media.

On X, the North London page wrote: “Hey @LilTunechi when are you coming to the game?”

It remains to be seen whether Wayne will accept Spurs’ offer.

He is currently preparing for a tour in the USA; his first performance is scheduled for August 31 in Las Vegas.

The New Orleans rapper is booked through October 19, so a visit to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is possible later in the year.

Spurs, on the other hand, have opened their new league season with four points from their first two games, after drawing with Leicester City and beating Everton 4-0 last weekend.

Ange Postecoglou’s side continue their campaign on Sunday with a match against Newcastle United.
