Are you or your company the best in the valley? Or maybe you want to recognize and celebrate your personal favorites? Then it’s time for some friendly competition – our “Best of Aspen, Snowmass, Basalt” contest starts today.
Best of Aspen, Snowmass, Basalt is the community’s original contest where you decide who deserves top honors. This is your chance to celebrate the people, services and places that make our valley so special, while helping your favorites earn bragging rights.
Considering how great our communities are, it should come as no surprise that the competition is fierce. Last year, Parc Aspen and The Edge Restaurant & Bar shared the title of best wine list. Meanwhile, Wild Willow Outfitters beat out Aspen Outfitting Company for best fly fishing outfitter by just one vote, and Cathers Home Furniture + Interior Design edged out Aspen Emporium for best home decor supplier. As for the most popular categories for 2023, affordable dining topped the list, followed by male real estate agents, cosmetologists, bartenders, female real estate agents and nonprofits. The all-important question is, who will top the list this year?
Just like last year, the nomination round is now open, while a voting round will run from September 25 to October 3.
In addition to allowing each nominated individual and business to re-enter the final round of voting, we have a new website for the program: https://www.aspentimes.com/bestof2024#. The website is easy to navigate, makes nominating and voting a breeze, and anyone can suggest updates and corrections to business entries.
