Rihanna goes makeup-free and gives skincare tips in Fenty Skin photos

When you “shake until the moon becomes the sun,” Rihanna knows you need some protection from the sun.

The 36-year-old “Pon de Replay” singer and founder of Fenty Beauty posted a series of makeup-free photos on Instagram on Saturday, August 24, promoting a Fenty Skin product and giving her fans a skincare tip.

“Here’s your reminder to put on sunscreen baby,” Rihanna captioned the post, tagging both Sephora and Fenty Skin.

In the pictures, the mother of two can be seen applying her Hydra Vizor Huez tinted moisturizer, a Sephora exclusive product known to “hydrate, visibly increase skin elasticity, protect, and visibly reduce pores and dark spots.”

Rihanna holds her products up to the camera and applies them to her cheek while wearing a cozy sweater and diamond jewelry. In one snap, she made a kissy face for added effect.

The “Kiss It Better” singer’s new photos come more than a week after her last Instagram upload – a series of cheeky images showing Rihanna modeling her Savage X Fenty Bold Lace Collection.

While she juggles her beauty empire and motherhood, Rihanna has also taken some time this month to visit her home country of Barbados. She and her partner A$AP Rocky – the father of her two children RZA, 2, and Riot, 1 – were spotted on a short trip in early August, spending some time at sea.

The outing came shortly after she showed off a custom rhinestone-embellished costume at the annual Crop Over Festival in Barbados.

In conversation with Billboard For a cover story last week, Rocky, 35, spoke about his “amazing” relationship with the nine-time Grammy winner, adding that it’s “crazy how we find balance despite our chaotic schedules.”

“I don’t think there’s a more perfect person because when schedules are hectic, she’s very understanding,” Rocky said, adding that they spend “most of their time together” when their schedules are “free.”

“It’s all about understanding and compatibility,” he continued.

Elsewhere in the story, Rocky said that his taste in music doesn’t quite match that of his children. As he revealed, the family has quite a lot of coconut cartoon lately. “This shit is driving me crazy!” he joked. “Don’t tell my girl I said that. I’m only kidding. I don’t give a shit. She’s probably sick of it too.”

Rocky also celebrated her youngest child’s first birthday on August 1 with a social media shoutout and a carousel of pictures and videos on Instagram. “HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY TO MY SECOND BORN SON RIOT ROSE MAYERS ❤️,” he wrote at the time.
