I don’t want to be too controversial, but blonde Rihanna is my favorite. Yes, the Ariel-inspired red hair of 2011 was undoubtedly on point and her 2008 pixie cut with short hair on the sides and back was of course iconic, but nothing beats a hairstyle that matches an outfit… there, now I’ve said it. And today’s look is the epitome of matching.
Over the weekend (April 7, 2024), Riri stepped out in Los Angeles, California, wearing ripped baggy jeans and an oversized coat-like jacket. What completed the outfit, however, was her freshly dyed icy blonde hair, which matched the jacket almost exactly. I repeat: coordination at its finest.
While it’s not confirmed yet, we suspect this is the work of the singer’s longtime and beloved hairstylist, Yusef Williams. After all, he was the genius behind her latest warm blonde bob.
The roots of the hair are an almost white-blonde color, while the ends are more of a sandy shade, offering the best of both worlds. Although the color is left aside, we are just as in love with the style of this look. Natural.
As seen in the pictures above and below, her locks are pulled up and styled in a curly hairstyle that creates a tight base while voluminous strands fall effortlessly over the back of her head.
