Rob Lowe has reached a new low.
In a recent interview with The Telegraph, the “Parks and Recreation” star was asked whether he was “more or less vain than British men.”
“That’s a low bar! Can we talk about William?” the actor replied.
“I mean, the future king of your country pulled his own hair out. So when I say that British men set the bar very low…” he continued. “Honestly, watching Prince William lose his hair was one of the biggest traumas of my life. He’s going to be the bloody king of England!”
“There’s a pill (for hair loss)… The first time I suspected I was losing a single hair, I had the stuff injected into my damn veins. And that’s what I did for the next 30 years,” he added.
After the actor’s quotes went viral, Lowe was criticized on Twitter for mocking the Queen’s hairstyle.
“Maybe the future king needs to focus on more important things. And not on superficial Hollywood vanity,” wrote one Twitter user.

In September 2017, the Duke of Cambridge joked about his hairline to a hairdresser, saying: “I don’t have much hair, I can’t get you much business.” Last March, HELLO! published a story saying Kate Middleton constantly jokes about Prince William’s hair.
Although Lowe may have exaggerated a little, we have a feeling the Prince will not hold a grudge against him.
