You don’t have to be a fan of Sabrina Carpenter to know that she has a look all her own. The combination of blonde hair and bangs is nothing new, but Sabrina has made it her own. Speaking to Vanity Fair this year, Sabrina revealed that she got bangs because she was heartbroken: “I literally cut my bangs off because someone broke my heart. I was like, ‘I have to do something.'”
Now photos of Sabrina with dark hair have taken over the internet… But where do they come from? Did Sabrina dye her hair?

On Saturday, a Sabrina fan tweeted, “SABRINA CARPENTER WITH BLACK HAIR IS TOP LEVEL OMG??” alongside photos of Sabrina with dark hair.
It didn’t take long for the photos to go viral and many people loved the look and commented on how different Sabrina looks without her natural hair – some even compared her to Megan Fox in Jennifer’s body.
Referring to the film, one person tweeted: “She looks like she doesn’t kill people, she kills boys.”
What many didn’t know, however, is that the photos aren’t new. Fans of Sabrina Carpenter already know that Sabrina wore black hair for her 2022 music video “Fast Times” and the look was actually a wig.
“Fast Times” was the second single from Sabrina’s fifth album, Emails I Can’t Send, and was released several months before Sabrina reached new heights of fame with “Nonsense” and “Feather.”
One fan tweeted: “People think this is new. Almost, I’m sorry I wasn’t your mother. You deserve better.”
And for anyone wondering if Sabrina will be dyeing her hair in the near future, the singer told Vanity Fair that she currently has no interest in being anything other than blonde.
She explained: “I never wanted to dye my hair because I always felt comfortable, you know, blonde, the way I was born.”
