Salma Hayek showed her grey hair in a yellow bikini

It’s been a busy summer for Salma Hayek. One day she’s carrying the Olympic torch at the Paris Summer Games and the next she’s hanging a Thirst Trap on a yacht in the middle of the ocean. And with all that action, she understandably hasn’t had much time to maintain her usual beauty routine.

Case in point? On Sunday, the actress embraced her gray hair and couldn’t have looked sexier doing it. Hayek showed off her graying strands in a new bikini photo she shared to Instagram. She wore a bright yellow two-piece that included an underwire top and matching bottoms with ruffled tabs. She paired her tiny bikini with a pearl necklace and tortoiseshell sunglasses and wore her shiny brunette hair in braids with several silver strands visible on the sides.

“Yellow bikini + white hair = perfect combination,” Hayek captioned her sun-drenched post, which shows her posing next to the Spanish flag.

This is not the first time that Magic Mike Star has been open about her grey hair. Last year, Hayek shared her secret to covering up her silver strands with her fans on Instagram. “Here’s a tip for covering up your white hair without dyeing it,” she wrote alongside a photo of herself with sunglasses pushed up on her face, adding, “Don’t wear your glasses 👓 on your hair!!! 😜😹.” As proof that her statement was true, the next photo showed Hayek with no grey hair and no glasses.

Another brilliant idea? Put mascara in your hair. “You can’t see the white hairs at the moment because I’ve put on mascara,” Hayek previously told the moderators of Good morning America in June 2023 when asked about her gray hair. “Because I’m too lazy to dye my hair, I do this and then this,” she continued, making a sweeping motion across her eyelashes and hair.
