San Antonio Spurs host back-to-school party at Frost Bank Center!

SAN ANTONIO – The Alamo City’s San Antonio Spurs are helping kids prepare for the upcoming school year in style!

On Thursday, the San Antonio Spurs will host a “Back to School Bash” from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Frost Bank Center, where there will be school supplies, vaccinations, vision and dental exams, and information booths for students.

Haircuts are also available by appointment via the registration link.

“All of us at Frost are proud to be a part of this event and we look forward to doing our part to help our community be prepared for the start of the school year,” said Clay Jones, regional president at Frost. “We are always happy to lend a helping hand to the Spurs in efforts like this.”

In the two years since the program began, the Spurs Sports and Entertainment Back to School Party has attracted over 10,000 attendees. Last year’s event provided over 1,200 health screenings and 700 dental exams and cleanings and provided school supplies to 11,000 students.

“We believe in building leaders and legacies where we live, work, play and learn,” said Dr. Kara Allen, Chief People, Impact and Belonging Officer at SS&E. “Equipping teachers and families with critical resources is critical to student success in the classroom and beyond.”

Parents or guardians must be present with their children and teachers must show their school ID upon entry. Items and services are available on a first come, first served basis.
