Sauce Walka explains why he criticized Drake for cultural appropriation

Walka sauce reiterates its claims that drake “uses” Houston for personal purposes.

The Houston native discussed his stance on Drizzy during his interview on The Breakfast Club on Tuesday morning, August 13. Sauce called the “Upper Town” rapper because he doesn’t make music with artists from Houston like he does with artists from Atlanta. He argued that the only Texas rapper he has songs with, Travis Scottand claimed their features were “equal.” He accused Drake of not promoting artists from the city he claims to love so much.

“It’s about fair exchange and business,” Sauce explained. “When you leverage the heritage and the culture of a city or a hometown and backyard, you’re doing something that’s not only for you and your reputation, but also for your own benefit with the women and the people of the city. Do something that’s actually making the economy of that city – and the musicians – bigger and more successful.”

Sauce Walka spoke about Drake after the Toronto native recently moved to Houston. Last September “Houstatlantavegas” The rapper bought a $15 million mansion 70 miles northwest of Houston in Washington County. In an Instagram post from June, he showed off his massive ranch.
