Savannah Guthrie shares her family’s Christmas card for 2023

This year’s Christmas card from Savannah Guthrie highlights a special family memory.

The TODAY co-host unveiled her family’s 2023 Christmas card on Instagram on Christmas Eve, featuring her husband Michael Feldman and their two children, Vale (9) and Charley (7).

She shared a snap of the colorful card, which featured a sweet photo of the family of four posing at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Savannah skipped on a caption and let the photo speak for itself with its simple message, “Merry & Bright.”

“Happy holidays! Love, Mike, Savannah, Vale and Charley,” says the text under the family photo.

Last week, the “Mostly What God Does” author spoke about her hopes for her two children, telling TODAY.com, “My wish for them and for everyone is to find a different perspective. I think we can all really focus on our world and our lives, our distractions, our worries and our ambitions.”

Savannah said that children, in particular, can be “completely focused on themselves,” noting, “Sometimes it’s a gift to just have perspective and see the world around you.”

As for what Vale and Charley want for the holidays, Savannah said it was no surprise that Vale, who like her mom is a huge Swiftie, wanted Taylor Swift merchandise in addition to a surprise. Savannah said Charlie wants “every soccer, football, and basketball jersey there is in the world.”

Both Vale and Charley are expecting “a nice surprise,” Savannah said.

“It’s an electronic device, but it’s not a phone,” she said, joking that they wouldn’t get their own cell phone until they were 18 – “or never!”

This year, Savannah appeared on another Christmas card alongside her TODAY family. On November 29, the TODAY team unveiled its first official Christmas card to accompany its annual video, featuring everyone posing in their festive holiday attire.

Savannah joins several members of the TODAY family who have publicly unveiled their holiday cards this year.

Jenna Bush Hager posted her card in November, which featured a photo of her family during a trip to Martha’s Vineyard. The snapshot on the front showed her husband, Henry Hager, and their three children, Mila, Poppy and Hal, while a second image on the back showed the family of five along with their cat, Hollywood.

In early December, Dylan Dreyer posted her card showing her three sons Calvin, Oliver and Rusty in matching red pajama sets.

On her card, Sheinelle Jones shared a photo montage of moments throughout the year, including snaps with her husband Uche Ojeh, their three children Kayin, Clara and Uche, and a triumphant snap of Sheinelle at the New York City Marathon.
