See Kim Kardashian’s transformation to red hair

Kim Kardashian just declared red the color of fall by debuting a fiery new hairstyle on her Instagram Stories on Wednesday. In the photos, the reality TV star, mom, and entrepreneur shows off long, bright crimson hair with dark roots. Although the autumnal hue is likely worn by a wig—as seen through her usual brunette hair in the post below—the temporary style is sure to spark another renaissance for the color, knowing the influence of Kim’s seal of approval.

Last summer, a number of celebs embraced red hair, including Chrissy Teigen, Emily Ratajkowski and Megan Fox. The most memorable transformation has to be Dua Lipa’s, of course, and she’s one of the few A-listers to have stuck with the auburn color. Even Kim’s younger sister Khloé tried out the popular hair color this year, swapping her copper hair for strawberry blonde a few months ago.

Kardashian tagged her skincare line SKKN, possibly hinting at an upcoming shoot. In addition to the wig, she wore a flowing black top and opted for a glowing bronze complexion, rosy cheeks and frayed lashes.

Kardashian is used to changing up her haircuts and colors, and just before she went back to her natural dark color, she sported platinum blonde locks—something she’s very used to thanks to big events like the Met Gala and her dedication to a look, be it Marilyn Monroe’s dress or bespoke Margiela couture.
