Responsibilities The Automotive Technician position requires your talent and technical expertise to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while utilizing your leadership and mentoring skills to lead a team toward improved customer care and satisfaction. Diagnose and repair to specifications brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning, and computer systems. Appropriately explain technical diagnoses and required repairs to non-mechanically trained individuals. Stay current on rapidly changing automotive technology through ongoing paid formal education. Assist other technicians/mechanics in performing technical tasks. Perform requested repair work in a productive and efficient manner. Utilize diagnostic equipment and specialized service tools to test vehicle components. Experience with hybrid/electric vehicles is a plus.
