SSI Payment Schedule: Find out when you’ll get your second check this month

Supplemental Income recipients have already received their payment for the month of August, but what you may not know is that you will receive another one before the end of the month. The payment schedule can change from month to month depending on what day the month begins, and that’s the case this time. We’ll explain. And in case you didn’t know, later this year the amount on your checks could increase.

Supplemental Security Income is a program of the Social Security Administration. It benefits eligible recipients with limited income and resources, as well as people with disabilities. Blind or disabled children may also be eligible for SSI.

Here’s when you can expect your SSI payments for the rest of the year. Thursday, August 1.

• Friday, August 30 (for September)
• Tuesday, October 1
• Friday, November 1st
• Friday, November 29 (for December)

September 1, 2024 is a Sunday, so SSI recipients will receive their payments for that month on August 30. This is also scheduled to happen in November of this year.

If I receive other social security benefits, will I also receive them early?
