With his latest haircut, Travis Kelce took a little style risk – and Taylor Swift fans are divided about the look.
The 34-year-old tight end’s relationship with Swift has elevated the already popular Chiefs player to superstar status and brought him to the attention of a whole new audience.
After a buzz cut that became a viral sensation, according to the New York Timeshe unveiled a new, longer hairstyle with a shaved undercut and a thick mustache.

Some users on X (formerly known as Twitter) and Instagram have praised the look, which Patrick Mahomes said Swift himself had a hand in developing. “I was trying to get him to grow his hair longer and all of a sudden Taylor makes him do it,” Mahomes, 28, said on SiriusXM NFL on Tuesday, August 13.
X has many fans who love the look. One Kelce fan account posted pictures with the simple caption, “The hair!!!” followed by a melting smiley emoji. Many fans commented on how handsome he looked. “Can’t wait to see it styled,” one wrote.
However, not all fan reactions were positive. One X-user called Kelce’s look “the worst haircut in America” and compared it to Jim Carey’s. Dumb and Dumber Wig.
Another refused to believe that Swift even liked the hairstyle. “Taylor says she likes it, it LIES LIKE A CARPET.”
One X user expressed his dislike more politely. “I think I like the short hair better but my opinion doesn’t count lol,” he captioned the above-mentioned post on the Kelce fan page.
Time will tell if the new version of the “Travis Kelce haircut” will conquer hair salons across the country.
