Why do you think the teacher should be recognized or honored?
Not only are they great teachers in the classroom, but they also do their best to lead the school’s science club. The science club hosts trips to different locations every month, giving students the opportunity to visit, see, and travel to places they otherwise wouldn’t be able to visit with their families. Mrs. White has created and provided these opportunities for these students.
What do you think everyone should know about the teacher?
I want people to know how much time and energy Pat White put into organizing science club trips for the students at Manchester Township High School. She always made sure that any child who wanted to go could go on the trip. If the students couldn’t afford it, she got other teachers to sponsor and pay for the trips. She enriched the lives of so many students by making these trips possible for these children. It was wonderful to see the students experience things they never would have had the opportunity to do without Pat White. She is truly a selfless person when it comes to providing learning opportunities for her students.
