Texas Cash App users could be eligible for big money

If you’ve used Cash App since 2018, whether in Texas or not, you could be getting a pretty big check… maybe up to $2,500.

A class action lawsuit found that Block Inc, the owner of Cash App, was negligent in several security breaches. They denied any liability for the incident but agreed to a $15 million settlement.

You could be entitled to up to $2,500 of that $15 million, and you may be able to charge them for the time you spent trying to fix any problems that may have arisen.

Am I entitled to a refund?

This is the case if:

  • You were or are a user of Cash App and/or Cash App Investing.
  • Your account has been accessed without your permission.
  • Between August 23, 2018 and August 20, 2024, there were unauthorized or fraudulent withdrawals or transfers from your account.

How do I get my refund?
