Neo Destiny’s Psyduck is as cute as it is useless, at least by today’s standards. For a Water Energy, Flipper Splash does ten damage. For a Psychic Energy and a Colorless Energy, Psyduck gets a migraine, does 20 damage, and then has a 50/50 chance of confusing itself.
The card art is cute, featuring a 3D model of the yellow duck Pokémon, looking a little confused but overall happy to be there.
A killer effect in another era
If you’re looking for a cute, retro-looking Psyduck card, the WoTC promo might be for you. Interestingly, it has a pretty good move that would be broken in modern Pokémon: Headache doesn’t allow your opponent to use Trainer cards next turn.
This lock would be incredibly overpowered since many modern decks use items and other supporter cards to complete their build, however this version would create power creep as is.

Psyduck’s Build-A-Bear card may not be the strongest, but it’s a nice card for collectors. It even has an official Build-A-Bear stamp. For one Energy, Confusion Wave will confuse both you and your opponent’s Active Pokémon.

The silliest tag team duo
During the tag team era of the Pokémon TCG, Psyduck got a GX card where it wasn’t alone. When both Slowpoke and Psyduck team up, nothing is impossible. Ditch and Splash lets you discard Supporter cards and deal 40 damage for each card discarded.
Thrilling Times deals ten damage plus 100 more. If you have six more energy cards attached than the cost of the attack, you can flip ten coins and deal 100 damage each time you land on heads.
A McDonalds treasure
If you’ve ever seen Pokémon fans rush to the local McDonalds, this is why. It has the same moves and stats as the Build-A-Bear card and can confuse both your opponent’s Active Pokémon and itself.

For one energy, it can do Scratch for ten damage. Call for Friend is a coin-based move where you can flip a coin. If you get heads, you can put another Misty card from your deck directly onto your Bench.

An e-reader collector’s item
Some of the rarest cards aren’t due to their usability in a game or even their card image. In fact, some, like Psyduck from the Aquapolis expansion, have special barcodes that can be used to unlock hidden features using the e-Reader.
If you swipe it on your e-reader, you’ll gain access to a special Pokedex entry. The card also features Psyduck happily riding on a swing. It also has two very simple moves: headbutt and scratch.

Enton tries to develop further
The final version of Slowpoke and Psyduck features an alternate card art, making them the most expensive in the series. While Slowpoke is known for evolving when a Shelder bites its tail, this time it switches roles.
Psyduck gets a tail piece of his own. While it might be interesting to imagine what such an evolved form would look like, it only seems to make the poor thing’s headache worse.
1 Paradise Resort – World Championships 2023 $657.47
Most expensive Enton support
One of the most expensive cards associated with Psyduck isn’t even the titular Pokémon itself, but a Stadium card that heavily supports it. At the 2023 World Championships, Paradise Resort was released. This gives Psyducks one less retreat cost on both sides of the field.
What’s special about this card is that it was available exclusively to attendees as part of a welcome package. It could also be earned at the event in various side events, making it a card for the most ambitious Psyduck fans.
