The Cayuga Cancer Center is moving to Cayuga Park

Effective August 19, Cayuga Cancer Center’s medical oncology, hematology and chemotherapy services will move to the new Cayuga Park Medical Office Building at 401 Cayuga Park Lane, Suite 300, on the Ithaca Waterfront. Designed to meet patient needs, this state-of-the-art facility will feature a new location for laboratory services in addition to DEXA scanning, mammography and ultrasound imaging services.

The Cayuga Park building, which opened last fall for a variety of health services, offers greater accessibility near downtown Ithaca. Thanks to community donors, the center has an expanded waiting area, larger exam rooms and a more private and efficient chemotherapy suite. Radiation therapy services, however, will remain at Cayuga Medical Center.

Dr. Timothy Bael, Medical Director of Oncology Services, emphasized the community’s role in improving cancer care and said the new facilities will enable exceptional care throughout the cancer treatment process. Patients at the Cortland and East Campus locations will continue to receive care at their respective sites. For more information, visit cayugahealth.org/cancer.
