This series is not financial advice, but a way to help collectors know the evolution of a card’s availability so that Pokémon Trading Card Game Completists like me know when to strike. Umbreon VMAX Alternate Art is down a bit this month. However, at its astonishing current value of $843.52, the $50 loss this month is hardly a negative. Similar losses are seen for Rayquaza VMAX Alternate Art, Leafeon VMAX Alternate Art, and Glaceon VMAX Alternate Art. Now that we are three years after this set’s release this month, it remains a modern marvel of Pokémon Trading Card Game Collect that so many cards in this set can not only reach values above $100 and $200, but also hold them. Any of the top ten cards would be an absolutely powerful chase card in the Scarlet & Violet Era… but in this Sword and shield set, they are just all together, turning packs of Evolving Skies in gold.
