The Good Things Festival presents a packed lineup for 2024

The Good things The 2024 lineup is finally here, and it’s packed!

The headliner of the event is the legendary Californian nu-metal band grainto mark the thirtieth anniversary of their groundbreaking debut album. Total 41who will be playing their very last shows in Australia as they bid farewell to their fans early next year. Playing tracks from their previous albums (and a few gems from their most recent work!), Sum 41 are determined to go out with a bang and cement their status as pop punk icons. The 80s folk punk pioneers Violent women will also take to the main stage and play classics such as “Blister in the Sun” and “Add It Up”.

Other highlights include the German electronic music sensation Electric Callboyknown for the viral hits “Hypa Hypa”, “We Got The Moves”, the Babymetal duet “RATATATA” and an insanely good cover of Cascada’s “Everytime We Touch”. Smashing pumpkinsBilly Corgan will appear on stage with Australian rockers The Delta Rigsplayed some solo pieces as well as some hits by the Smashing Pumpkins. The Gaslight Anthem also celebrate their long-awaited return to Australia, fresh from the release of the comeback album History booksMembers of the ARIA Hall of Fame JET join the cast and celebrate the twentieth anniversary of their multi-platinum album Be born. Australian rock legends The living end will make their only appearance at the Good Things Festival in 2024, playing hits like “Second Solution” and “Prisoner of Society.” Fans will also have the chance to see American rockers of the 90s Bowling for soup in Australia for the first time in over fifteen years, to mark the twentieth anniversary of A hangover you don’t deserve. huntress‘S Kerry Koenig and heavy metal mastodon will also shake up the festival.

The impressive line-up will continue with other major acts such as Sleeping with sirens, The butterfly effectAnd Alpha Wolfamong many others.

LEVEL 666 is also planned for 2024. We can probably expect the return of the live karaoke band as well as DJ sets, alongside the carnivalesque Freak Show Lounge, which will be hosted by the knife-throwing, gravity-defying Captain Ruinand with an appearance of the Princess of Pain herself, Princess Tweedle Deedle.

Good things is always a great event with great music, great facilities and an overall positive vibe. It is the ultimate festival for fans of harder music in Australia and having attended every event since it launched in 2018, I can safely say it is one of my personal favourites.
