NarutoStill one of the world’s most popular anime series since its debut in 2002, following a new deal with VIZ Media, it can be streamed for free 24/7 on Amazon Freevee and on demand on Prime Video.

About Variety, Naruto is getting its own free, ad-supported streaming TV channel (FAST) on Amazon Freevee following a deal between VIZ Media and Amazon. This also comes amid a growing trend of high-profile anime series getting single-IP channels in the US. Amazon is expanding the potential exposure to its anime catalog, joining other streamers like Crunchyroll who have recently signed FAST deals to introduce fans to anime before encouraging them to take out subscriptions for an enhanced experience.

Ahead of the launch, JP Villanueva, Senior Director of Digital Distribution at Viz Media, said: “With the launch of a dedicated linear channel and VOD offerings, fans can now experience the legendary adventures of Naruto Uzumaki 24/7. This addition not only enriches Freevee’s anime library, but also offers fans an exciting new way to engage with one of the most famous anime franchises.” Freevee is available as a standalone app or on the wider Amazon Prime Video service for supported devices; Prime Video is one of the most popular anime streaming services in America.
