The Mykolaiv Seaport plans to repair tracks and switches. The estimated cost of repairs is almost 18 million UAH.
This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations, citing Prozorro’s data on public procurement.
The works were commissioned by the Mykolaiv Port Authority. The plan is to overhaul switches No. 127, No. 129, No. 153, No. 157 and track No. 6 of the Z-Park.
The estimated cost is 17,655,933 UAH.
The auction is scheduled to begin on September 3, 2024. The reserve price cut is 88,279 UAH.
A bid security is not required, but the successful bidder must provide security for the contract fulfilment. The amount of the security is 4.9% of the contract value and must be in the form of a bank guarantee.
Payment for the work performed is made by the customer on a monthly basis within 15 calendar days from the date of signing the acceptance certificate for the completed construction work. The source of financing for the procurement is the company’s own funds.
All expenses in connection with the provision of security for the performance of the contract shall be borne by the winner.
The contractor will have to dismantle the existing switch and lay a new one on reinforced concrete rods, dismantle part of the pavement slabs and counter rails with reverse laying. In addition, the old ballast under the switch and track sections will have to be removed and replaced with a new single-layer ballast.
Due to the limited accessibility of the switches and track sections, the contractor must be provided with appropriate lifting equipment to carry out the work.
All work is scheduled to be completed by December 31, 2024.
Recently, the Odessa branch of the state-owned enterprise “Ukrainian Seaport Authority” announced a tender to find a contractor to carry out construction work on the reconstruction of the second stage of the traffic overpass at Mytna Square in the Prymorskyi district of the city.
And the Mykolaiv Shipping Agency was bought for twenty times the amount stated in the tender. Six investors competed for the right to own the shipping agency, and the price increased twenty times: from almost UAH 711,000 to the winning bid of UAH 14.28 million.
