The Repair Shop expert gives an exciting update on the filming

The repair shop Expert Richard Talman has shared an exciting update on filming.

The master goldsmith posted an Instagram video on Tuesday (August 27) showing a compilation of photos of himself with members of the production team.

“Well that’s the end of filming season 10 for me!” he wrote in the caption. “What a wonderful season with some amazing people that I get to call my co-workers.”

He continued: “You all know the experts, so I wanted to showcase the incredible production team that makes the show possible. @therepairshoptv Thank you for having me here. That’s it, as they say!”

Talman’s co-star Julyan Wallis commented on the upload, writing, “Love you bro. See you next year.”

Although Talman referred to the episodes as Season 10 in his post, the BBC states that the show is currently airing the second block of Season 13.

But if you put aside the differences in season numbers, there is good news: we still have plenty of episodes of the popular series to go.

There is also a spin-off show called The repair shop on the go in progress, which sees the team leave the barn in West Sussex to restore people’s precious treasures across the country.

Back in May, it was reported that presenter Jay Blades would be taking a break from the series and that filming had begun without him at the helm.

Meanwhile, watchmaker Steve Fletcher has announced that his son Fred will appear more frequently on the BBC show.

The repair shop is currently broadcasting new episodes on Wednesday evenings at 8pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
