The Yates Community Center (YCC) is hosting Family Fitness Fun Day on Saturday, August 17, offering a lively afternoon of activities for all ages.
The free event will be held from noon to 4 p.m. at the YCC facility on North Main Street and will feature a variety of fitness challenges and games, including mini golf, an obstacle course with blow-ups and traditional track and field competitions. Children can also enjoy balloon art and face painting and enjoy free snacks from local vendors.
“We’re excited to bring families together for a day of fitness and fun,” said Dawn Shipman, YCC program and events director. “This is a great way to promote community wellness and create lasting memories.”
The event is sponsored by Lyons National Bank and the New York State Office of Children and Family Services and is open to the public, but pre-registration is recommended to ensure a smooth process.
