The Vornado VFan Jr. is a scaled-down version of my beloved full-size VFan, still featuring the same airflow technology and impressive cooling performance. Just like the original, it also comes in cream and vintage green, has a tilting head, and two wind speeds instead of three.

I have the Mini on my desk in my office. It’s a little loud for a small room, but not excessively so; no one hears it in the background on my Zoom calls. However, for its size, it’s very powerful and works much better than other desk fans – especially the USB fans. I have the Sr. in my guest room at home and it works perfectly in the summer. It provides good air circulation in a medium-sized room. And finally, I have the Sr. Pedestal in my living/kitchen area. With the pedestal fan, I only have to run my PTAC machine during heat waves. It was lighter than expected, but didn’t feel cheap at all; it was very easy to put together.
Honestly, it’s hard to find fault with these fans. They all look very attractive and they all work exceptionally well at circulating air! They’re all pretty quiet for a medium or large room and they’re all very well built. I’ve had them run for days (weeks!) with no problems. Although they’re significantly more expensive than the “regular” plastic Vornado circulators, I prefer these because they’re so much more robust.
