Things to do in Wichita Falls this weekend, August 15-18

The upcoming weekend is full of possibilities as Wichita Falls ISD students return to their books and Chromebooks.

School starts Thursday for WFISD, where two new high schools are opening. City View ISD is not far behind with its first day of school on August 22.

Even in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the new school year, you can check out what the Moon Market has to offer, go to the rodeo, hone your Swiftie chair dancing skills, or join in on a youth beach volleyball tournament. And that’s not even the tip of the iceberg of local arts events like the premiere of Steel Magnolias.
