This weekend will be hot and humid

CLEVELAND — Summer is far from over! The same high pressure system that was to our west and gave us an incredibly pleasant work week is also responsible for the weekend’s warming, bringing southerly winds back to NEO and contributing to higher temperatures and humidity!

Temperatures will rise to the 30s and 40s on Saturday and Sunday. Skies will be partly cloudy. You’ll also notice the humidity levels increase a bit this weekend. As for the chance of rain, we could see a few isolated thunderstorms in one or two places on Sunday afternoon and evening, but most of us will stay dry all weekend.

Next week we’ll reach 90 degrees, with higher humidity and a few chances of rain. None of these rain chances seem to be widespread, but rather isolated, sporadic storms. The heat will stay with us literally all week!

What you can expect:

  • Much warmer this weekend
  • Humidity also increases
  • Plan for dry weather on Saturday
  • Isolated thunderstorms are possible on Sunday
  • Scorching temperatures next week

Daily breakdown:

Monday: Isolated showers possible. Summer is back! | High: 87º
