Tonkeeper launches Signer App on TON to improve transaction security | CryptoTvplus

Soundkeeper has introduced a new app called Signer that aims to improve the security of cryptocurrency transactions. Signer offers users a safer way to manage and use their private keys by storing them outside of the main wallet, reducing the risk of theft or unauthorized access.

TThe Signer app is designed to be flexible and offers users two different modes. The first mode is Comfort Mode. In this mode, Signer connects to the Tonkeeper app on one device.

This setup is ideal for users who want to manage their keys in a simple but secure way without the need for multiple devices. Users can sign transactions directly in the app, making it easier to use while providing additional protection.

The second mode is Maximum Security Mode. This is for users who prioritize security. In this mode, Signer offers offline signing. Users sign transactions using QR codes, keeping their private keys off the internet.

Signer also works seamlessly with existing wallets on the TON blockchain. It increases security by encrypting user keys without making transactions more complicated.

This means that everyone can enjoy greater security while still easily accessing their keys. To keep private keys safe and easily accessible, Signer uses a password to unlock them. This ensures a good balance between high security and ease of use.

Tonkeeper is a leading non-custodial wallet built for the TON (The Open Network) blockchain, allowing users to send, receive and manage Toncoin and other tokens directly from their mobile devices.

With over 2.3 million monthly active users, it enables seamless integration with decentralized applications (dApps) and supports features such as staking and NFT management.

Tonkeeper’s collaboration in the TON ecosystem has resulted in several user experience tools on TON. For example, Tonkeeper Battery, started in April 2024, is an innovative feature within the Tonkeeper wallet that allows users to conduct transactions on the TON blockchain without having to hold Toncoin for gas fees.

It acts as an off-chain account that covers transaction fees for various operations including payments, staking, and swaps, even when a user’s TON balance is zero. Since its launch, Tonkeeper Battery has facilitated nearly 1 million transactions in a month and saved users over $100,000 in fees.

In July also sound recordist started the W5 Smart Wallet to allow users to access gasless transactions where they do not have to pay their gas fees again with $TON.
