Current AEW American Champion MJF believes he is a better singer in wrestling than Joe Hendry of TNA Wrestling and WWE NXT.
Since his debut in WWE NXT, TNA Wrestling’s Joe Hendry has skyrocketed in popularity.
Hendry’s character work and distinctive vocals have made him one of the most popular stars in the industry today.
Another star who has demonstrated his musical background in the past is former AEW World Champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman.
Speaking to Cultaholic Wrestling, MJF was asked if he was the best singer in wrestling. He replied:
“Undoubtedly”,
When Joe Hendry was mentioned as another popular singer in the business, MJF responded:
“Joe Hendry, sweet boy, I would kill him.”
In 2020, Friedman made a memorable singing appearance on AEW Dynamite with former AEW World Champion Chris Jericho. When Jericho was mentioned, MJF responded:
“Fozzy is incredibly well produced. They do a great job.”
When asked again if he was the best singer in wrestling, MJF replied:
“Yes, 1000%. I also beat Chris Jericho. I brought him to his senses with the Salt of the Earth Armbar. The sounds he made at that moment were angelic to me.”
