When was the last time you were really excited about a phone? Over the past decade, flat phones haven’t changed all that much. Sure, you get more refined designs and better materials, but brands aren’t really pushing the boundaries and delivering products that really knock you out of your seat. But that’s where foldable phones come in, with their unique design and fantastic technology that, while familiar, still amazes. The only problem is that foldable phones are expensive.

It’s not the flashiest or most powerful, but this flip phone is great for the space

And if you’ve never bought one, you’re in a bind, shelling out so much money for something you may or may not like. Fortunately, Motorola makes a foldable phone that’s relatively affordable. That’s why the Motorola Razr flip phone offers the best value for money and is one of the best foldable phones you can buy. And now you can get it even cheaper, because this Amazon, Best Buy, and Motorola promotion has knocked $300 off the original retail price.

What’s great about the Motorola Razr?

This phone is stylish, there’s no doubt about that. And when you open it up, you’ll see a beautiful 6.9-inch pOLED LTPO panel that delivers vibrant colors and excellent black levels. Thanks to its maximum brightness of up to 1,400 nits, the display performs well even in bright lighting conditions.

Of course, we can’t forget the 1.5-inch AMOLED exterior display. Is it the largest exterior display you’ll find on a foldable phone? No. But does it serve its purpose when you need to check some information at a glance? For the most part, yes. And even though it’s small, it still offers plenty of brightness, reaching up to 1,000 nits.

As for the internals, the Motorola Razr is powered by a Qualcoom Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. And while this isn’t Qualcomm’s latest processor, it’s still good enough and offers solid performance for everyday tasks. And as for the cameras, you get a 64MP main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 32MP selfie camera.

While they’re not the best cameras you’ll find in a phone, they get the job done. Just try to take photos and videos in well-lit areas, as the cameras don’t perform so well in low light. Overall, there’s not much to complain about here, especially at the current price. In our original review, we praised the phone for its build, beautiful internal display, and long battery life.

And back then, the phone was selling for $700. With this recent $300 discount bringing the price down to just $400, you won’t find anything quite like it if you’re looking for a brand new foldable phone. You can make the deal even more attractive if you have an old phone to trade in. So grab it while you can, because it’s a deal we wouldn’t pass up.
