Trump supporters can secure a piece of his debate suit by purchasing digital trading cards

Supporters of former President Donald Trump can get a piece of the suit he wore during the debate with President Joe Biden that ultimately ended his campaign if they spend nearly $1,500 on digital trading cards.

In a video Trump posted on his social media site Truth Social on Tuesday, he announced that he would be selling another collection of digital trading cards. Anyone who buys 15 or more cards will also receive a physical card featuring a piece of his clothing from the debate.

“People call it the knockout suit,” Trump said in the video. “I don’t know if that’s true, but that’s what they call it.”

“We cut up the stunning suit, you get a piece of it and we sign five of them at random. A real collector’s item. This is something you can give to your family, your children and grandchildren,” he added.

The digital cards cost $99 each, so backers who want a physical card will have to spend at least $1,485. Backers who purchase 75 digital cards valued at $7,425 will be invited to a gala dinner at Trump National Golf Club in Jupiter, Florida.

Trump began selling digital trading cards in December 2022, creating non-fungible tokens depicting him as a superhero. They sold out in less than a day and earned him $4.5 million.

He has sold parts of his suits before, offering small pieces of the suit he wore when he was arrested in the Georgia election interference case to his supporters, who spent over $4,600 on digital trading cards called the “MugShot Edition.”
