It begins. Just a few minutes after the trailer for Real Housewives of New York Season 15 was canceled, Ubah Hassan used her Instagram story to comment on her acting colleague Brynn Whitfield. Folks, we have a feud on our hands.
Ubah Hassan strikes back
The trailer for RHONY season 15 featured pigeons, fashion, and a few snobs. Although Brynn teased that Erin Lichy and Jenna Lyons were the MVPs of the season, the trailer’s most memorable moments came from Brynn. Her most memorable line came to Ubah when she joked that she only models for Dressbarn.
Seriously, there’s nothing wrong with Dressbarn. Your favorite middle school teacher probably shopped there regularly and has a few dollars left on a gift card at the bottom of her purse. It’s just not as glamorous for a Real Housewives star who sits in a cast that includes fashionistas like Jenna and Rebecca Minkoff.
Since Brynn’s dressbarn line garnered so much attention, Ubah took to her Instagram story to fire back at Brynn. We’re crossing our fingers that she brings that energy to the show in season 15 and isn’t just a social media warrior.
Ubah wrote: “Just to be clear, my daily rate at @Dressbarn would easily cover six months rent on her cheap apartment with no view. xoxo, Ubah.”
Well, that’s one way to give back, Ubah. Apparently her cousin Chanel Ayan gave her some reading lessons. Either that or these ladies are finally settling into their new jobs on Real Housewives.
