Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksandr Serhii met with Christian Freuding, Head of the Planning and Management Department of the German Ministry of Defense, during his visit to Kyiv.

Freuding said he had visited several regions of Ukraine, including the contact line, and was ready to discuss further cooperation.

- Previously, the chairman of the Bundestag’s Defense Committee, Markus Faber, said that the current situation in the Russian Kursk Oblast was an opportunity to discuss additional Leopard 2 combat vehicles for Ukraine.
- Faber explained that he does not see a possible use of German weapons in the fighting in the Russian Kursk Oblast as a problem.
