Update: One of six runaways sought by Big Island police has been found. Have you seen any of the others?: Big Island Now

Update from 22.08., 14:26: Big Island Police report that 18-year-old Aulani Alfapada, who had previously been reported as a runaway, was found in good health in Hilo on August 22.

Original article from May 2nd, 3:14 p.m.: Big Island Police are again asking the public for help in locating four boys and two girls who have been reported as runaways.

The missing teenagers are:

  • 15-year-old King Kehoewho was last seen in the Kalapana Gardens area on July 26, 2023. He is 5’4″ tall, weighs 125 lbs, has a slim build, light brown shaggy hair, and brown eyes. He is known to frequent the Puna and Kona areas.
  • 17-year-old Alfred Andonwho was last seen on December 9, 2023 on Kino’ole Street in Hilo. He is 5’7″ tall, weighs 120 pounds, has a light brown complexion, slim build, black hair, and brown eyes. Alfred is known to frequent the Hilo, Puna, and Kona areas.
  • 17-year-old Tristen Denis-Silvawho was last seen in the Mountain View area on December 13, 2023. He is 5’8″ tall, weighs 165 lbs, has short black hair, and brown eyes. He also has an oval birthmark on his right neck. Tristen is known to frequent the Hilo and Puna areas.
  • 15-year-old Chael Akuwho was last seen on Pauahi Street in Hilo on March 6. He is 5’2″ tall, weighs 110 pounds, has black curly hair and light green eyes.
  • 17-year-old Aulani Alfapadawho was last seen on North Peck Road in Puna on February 26. She is 5’2″ tall, weighs 110 pounds, and has brown hair and eyes. She is known to frequent the Hilo and Puna areas.
  • 17-year-old Cherish Ahulau-Kaleowho was last seen on Kino’ole Street in Hilo on March 14. She is 5’2″ tall, has brown eyes and dyed red hair. She is known to frequent downtown Hilo.
